Guest lecture for first-year PG scholars at SDMIAH

In in-house guest lecture for first-year PG scholars was held here at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital (SDMIAH) today (August 29). The programme was organized by the department of Kaumarabhritya (Ayurveda Pediatrics) of the institute. 
Dr. Reshma M Savkar, Associate Professor, Department of Rasashashtra and Bhaishajya kalpana, was the guest speaker. She elaborated on the preparation processes and significance of various formulations in pediatric practice, highlighting the differences in their modes of action. Dr. Reshma provided comprehensive insights into the processing, manufacturing, safety, and efficacy of formulations in pediatric practice. Attendees also engaged in a discussion with the speaker about common protocols for prescribing medicines in clinical practice.  
The departmental staff, including Dr Bharathi D Anvekar (Professor and HOD, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Reena K (Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Girish Kumar (Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Poornima N (Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Srilakshmi (Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), and Dr. Priyanka H.S. (Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), also attended the session.
