VISHWA SAMSKRITA DIWAS CELEBRATION

Vishwa Samskrita Diwas was celebrated here at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital on 26-08-2024 organized by department of Samhita, Siddhanta and Samskrita and Sanskrit club. 1st Prof BAMS students actively took part in the event. All the events were based on current year’s theme ‘Vedic Heritage and culture’. Video on the need of Sanskrit in the modern era was shown followed by a welcome speech, prayer by the students, Vadatu Samskritam, a skit on Panchatantra story, Samskrita Rasa Prashna, Samskrita Geeta Gayana. Dr. M G Yaligar, HOD, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta gave a presidential address highlighting the relevance of Sanskrit day celebration and importance of Sanskrit language. Dr Samhita Ullod, Assistant Professor, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta present. The program was coordinated by the members of the Sanskrit Club Ms Ananya S Katte and Ms. Anarghya Acharya.
