HEALTH TALK ON PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF DENGUE FEVER

Dr Srilakshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya, (Ayurveda Paediatrics) SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru, along with Dr Ajay (III PG scholar) and Dr. Mamatha (II PG scholar) visited Surabhi public school, Kengeri, Bengaluru on 29.7.2024 between 1.45 pm to 3 pm to give awareness talk on prevention and control of dengue fever.
They delivered an informative talk to Highschool students, providing a comprehensive detail on dengue, warning signs and symptoms of dengue, how to avoid contracting disease, prevention and control followed by how crucial to take medical help. Approximately 90 children attended the session and actively engaged in a live interactive discussion asking questions and seeking clarifications on various aspects of dengue fever.
It was a collaborative effort, of principal Mrs Ashalatha and teachers playing an active role in organising the programme. Department express gratitude to the principal and school management for providing the opportunity to conduct the awareness session and help in educating the students.
