Twinkling Kids Preschool In-House Camp
:Bengaluru, July 31 ,2026: The Department of Kaumarabhritya (Ayurveda Paediatrics) at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru conducted a successful in-house school visit camp for Twinkling kids preschool , SMV Layout,Banglore on 31.07.2026,Friday. 9 Kinder garden students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the college.
As part of the visit, the students were taken to visit to the herbal garden, where they were introduced to a variety of medicinal plants and did seedball workshop and they were trained on plantation under the expert guidance of Dr. Poornima B S(Professor,Department of Dravyagune) Dr. Divya(Associate professor,Department of Dravyaguna) Dr. Abishek (Assistant professor, Department of Dravyaguna) The children learned about the identification of different herbs and their importance in healthcare and Ayurveda. The interactive session sparked curiosity among the young learners and helped them appreciate the value of nature and medicinal plants.
The children then visited the Department of Kaumarabhritya (Ayurvedic Pediatrics), where they enthusiastically participated in a variety of fun-filled activities, including interactive games and colouring sessions. These activities were organized to create a joyful and engaging learning environment while promoting creativity and social interaction among the children. The program concluded with the distribution of snacks to all the participants.
The program was attended by Dr. Reena, Professor and Head, Department of Kaumarabhritya; Dr. Girish, Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya; Dr. Srilakshmi, Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya; and Dr. Priyanka H. S., Dr. Pravitha K., and Dr. Vandana, Assistant Professors, Department of Kaumarabhritya. Their active participation, encouragement, and interaction with the children contributed significantly to the success of the program.
