International Seminar and Hands-on Training on Integrated Maternal & Neonatal Care
Dr. Reena Kulkarni, Professor and Head, Department of Kaumarabhritya ( Ayurveda Pediatrics) at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru, participated as a distinguished resource person in the International Seminar and Hands-on Training on Integrated Maternal & Neonatal Care organized by Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Thrissur, as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The week-long hybrid programme, conducted from May 19 to 25, 2026, was jointly organized by the Department of Prasutitantra evum Striroga and the Department of Kaumarabhritya. The seminar aimed to bridge traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with modern maternal and neonatal healthcare practices.
Dr. Reena Kulkarni led a special offline seminar and hands-on training session on May 24 titled “The Gentle Touch – Master Class and Hands-on Workshop on Evidence-Based Ayurvedic Protocols for Newborn Health.” The session focused on practical neonatal care approaches, evidence-based Ayurvedic interventions, and newborn wellness practices.
