Academic Session Conducted by Dr. Reena K at AYUSH Training Centre
Dr. Reena K, Professor and Head, Department of Kaumarabhritya (Ayurveda Pediatrics), SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru, served as a resource person in the academic and capacity-building programme organized by the AYUSH Training Centre, Sugganahalli, Ramanagara District, Government of Karnataka. The programme, held on 21 January 2026, aimed at skill development and enhancement of knowledge among AYUSH professionals through expert academic interactions. Dr. Reena K delivered an insightful session on the importance of research in Ayurveda, with special emphasis on evidence-based research protocols applicable to various disease conditions, highlighting the role of scientific validation in strengthening Ayurvedic practice.
The session contributed effectively to improving research awareness and academic orientation among participants. Dr. Reena K’s academic input strengthened the objectives of the training programme and supported the Government’s initiative towards quality enhancement and evidence-based practice in AYUSH systems.
