ADOLESCENCE: DEFINITION, STAGES, CHANGES AND HEALTH CONCERNS
On 15/05/2026, the Department of Kaumarabhritya at SDMIAH organized an in-house guest lecture for III year Under Graduate scholars in the class room from 02:30 pm to 03:30 pm. The session, attended by 85 students Dr. Prema R. Professor Department of Pediatrics Raja Rajeshwari Medical College, Bengaluru. as the guest speaker has elaborated basic understanding of the Adoloscence phase, Stages and health concerns.
Students actively engaged in the discussion with the speaker on common health condition and psycological issues in Adoloscence. The interactive session proved highly beneficial and greatly helped students to enhance their proficiency and confidence in understanding and handling adolescent health issues. Dr. Prema R offered comprehensive insights into the topic.
The departmental staff, including Dr. Reena K (Professor and HOD, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Girish Kumar (Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Srilakshmi (Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya), Dr. Priyanka H.S.
