On the occasion of National Immunization day, Department of Kaumarabhritya in association with Kumbalgodu PHC conducted annual pulse polio vaccination drive at SDMIA&H for children from 19-02-2020 to 21.02.2020. As part of the National Nutrition Week observed from 1/9/19 to 7/9/19 Department of Swasthavritta had organized a “Diet Consultation” programme on 7/9/19. Patients attending the OPD/ IPD of the hospital of all the departments were offered individual diet advise.

Since 2016 Department of Kaumarabhrityahas been rendering  community health service for children residing at Belli chukki Orphanage. This year health check up  was done on 13th August 2019.

The NSS Unit in association with the Department of Swasthavruttha, conducted preparatory yoga camps from 15th June to 20th June, 2019  invarious nearby schools to mark the occasion of International Yoga day.
