Two Drops of Life- Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign Report (in association with Kumbalgodu PHC)
The Department of Kaumarabhritya, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru, in association with Kumbalgodu PHC, conducted a Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign titled from 21st to 24th December 2025.
A total of 43 children under 5 years of age availed the service and received polio drops during the campaign. The event was attended by Dr. Reena K, Professor & Head, Dr. Girish Kumar, Associate Professor, Dr. Srilakshmi, Associate Professor, Dr. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Pravitha, Assistant Professor, along with PG scholars who assisted in the programme.
The campaign, part of Mission Indradhanush 5.0, aimed to ensure every child under 5 gets polio drops every time, emphasizing the message “Be Wise! Get your child fully immunized”. The Polio Round was successfully completed at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Anchepalya, Kumbalagodu Post, Bengaluru
