Outhouse health check up camp at Bodhi Montessori
Bengaluru, 9th July 2025: Department of Kaumarabhritya(Ayurveda Pediatrics), SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru conducted outhouse health checkup camp for children studying at Bodhi Montessori, Rajajinagar,Bengaluru on 9.7.2025 between 9 am to 1.00 pm.
87 children between the age group 2 to 6 year participated in the camp. Dr. Mythri D, Director, Bodhi Montessori extensively involved in arrangement and successful conduction of camp. Manager, Headmistress and teachers of children enthusiastically involved in the activity. Peadiatric team involving Dr. Priyanka H.S. (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Kaumarabhritya), along with PG Scholars Dr.Mamata S (III PG Scholar), Dr.Meghana S K (III PG Scholar), Dr Nivedita (III PG Scholar), Dr.uday (II PG scholars) with interns has visited and conducted general health checkup to the children providing personalized attention and care. Notably, the team also offered special follow-up attention to children who had been identified with health issues during our previous camp, ensuring continuity of care and support.
Children with recurrent respiratory complaints, worm infestation, Dental caries, Nutritional deficiency diseases, Autism, Bleeding disorder and Speech disorders. Under weight children were referred to visit hospital for further evaluation and management. Few children who required medication for acute illness was informed to reach hospital with parents
