Report On Tiny Wonder School Health Check-Up Camp
The Department of Kaumarabhritya conducted a successful in-house school health check-up camp for Tiny Wonder Preschool,Kengeri from November 26 to 27, 2024. The camp, held from 10.00 am to 12:30 pm, benefited 54 children aged 3-6 years. A general health check-up and growth monitoring were conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Bharathi D Anvekar, Professor and Head, Dr. Reena Kulkarni, Professor, Dr. Girish Kumar, Associate Professor, Dr. Srilakshmi, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Priyanka H S, Assistant Professor, along with III and II PG scholars and interns.
The enthusiastic participation of the children’s teachers added to the camp’s success. Children requiring further attention for recurrent respiratory complaints, Autism, heart disease, GI complaints, speech disorders, or specialized tests and treatment were advised to visit SDMIAH Hospital’s OPD with their parents. In addition to the health check-up, the children had the opportunity to explore the Herbal Garden and Anatomy Museum, further enriching their experience.
