Eye donation awareness talk

In commemoration of ‘National eye donation fortnight’, the department of Shalakya tantra of SDMIAH here, conducted an Eye donation awareness talk to residents of Anchepalya village today (September 3) at Anganwadi centre and government urdu lower primary school in Anchepalya, Bengaluru. Along with the awareness talk, Dr Divya Stuvert and Dr Sushobhitha M, faculties from the department of Shalakya Tantra, conducted an out house Eye- ENT and dental check-up camp. 
 
Total 40 patients were screened  for refractive errors and had ENT and orodental check-up. Doctors explained the importance of Eye care along with Eye exercises for the school going kids with mild Refractive errors. A follow up camp will be conducted after 45 days for assessing the Refractive errors. Faculty of Shalakya Tantra, post graduate scholars and Interns participated in the event.
